Alycia Debnam-Carey was born in Sydney in Australia. It is an Australian actor, who has been featured in TV shows such as Fear the Walking Dead. She began performing at eight years old. Martha s New Coat was her first film she appeared in. Her TV debut in an episode in the TV series McLeod's Daughter. In the sci-fi series The 100, she played an integral part. This series is based on the novel of the same name. The character she played was Commander Lexa, the powerful chief of the 12 clans. Following her appearance on Fear the Walking Dead (a horror-drama television series) it made her more popular. The show was praised by critics as well as receiving numerous prizes. Jigsaw Girl, The Branch and other shorts have also included her. The first time she appeared was as a lead in the disaster film made from found footage film Into the Storm. Its commercial success was a great success, despite majority of negative reviewers.
